To update a previously imported LogicLock^™ region by reimporting its assignments:  Read This First

1. If you have not already done so, place the Entity Settings File (.esf) from which you want to reimport assignments in the current project directory.

2. If you want to reimport assignments from an ESF that does not have the same name as the entity to which the assignments should apply, specify the LogicLock Import File Name logic option for the entity.

3. If you have not already done so, select a specific target device from the APEX^™ 20K, APEX^™ II, ARM^®-based Excalibur^™, Cyclone^™, Mercury^™, Stratix^™, or Stratix^™ GX device families.

4. If you have not already done so, perform analysis and elaboration.

5. Open the LogicLock Regions window.

6. Select the LogicLock region that you want to update in the LogicLock regions list, or, if you want to update more than one region, select all the regions that you want to update.

7. Click Import.

8. Under Assignment Categories, select Import LogicLock region assignments only.

9. If you do not want to import assignments on pins, turn off Import pin assignments.

10. Under LogicLock import settings, select Do not create new LogicLock regions, only update the currently selected LogicLock region(s).

11. Click OK.
