A logic option that specifies the name of the file from which to import an entity's LogicLock^™ region assignments.

By default, the Quartus^® II software imports an entity's LogicLock region assignments from the entity's Entity Settings File (.esf). However, you can direct the Quartus II software to import these assignments from a different file by specifying the LogicLock Import File Name logic option for the entity.

Specifying the LogicLock Import File Name logic option for an entity does not import the entity's assignments into the current project, but only specifies the source file to use when importing. To import the assignments, you must use the Import dialog box in the LogicLock Regions window.

You must specify the file path for the LogicLock import file using a relative path name, not an absolute path name.

This option is ignored if it is assigned to anything other than a design entity. This option is available for all Altera^® devices supported by the Quartus II software except ACEX^® 1K, FLEX 10KE, and FLEX^® 6000 devices.
