To specify timing analysis reporting restrictions:
If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.
Choose Settings (Assignments menu). Shortcut
In the Category list, select Timing Analysis Reporting under Timing Settings.
To specify the range of timing analysis information reported, specify one or more of the following:
To generate all timing analysis reports, including those normally reserved for only for designs that contain complex timing assignments, turn on Run all timing analyses, regardless of whether any timing requirements were specified.
To specify the number of paths that the Timing Analyzer should report in the Register-to-Register Fmax, Clock Requirement, tco Requirements, th Requirements, tsu Requirements, and tpd Requirements sections of the Compilation report, type or select a number in the Show <n> slowest paths in Register-to-Register Fmax and slack reports list.
To specify the number of destination registers that the Timing Analyzer should report for each clock signal that appears in the fmax, tsu, th, and tco report sections, type or select a number in the Show <n> slowest destination registers per clock in fmax, tsu, th, and tco reports list.
To specify the number of source registers that the Timing Analyzer should report for each destination register that appears in the fmax, tsu, th, and tco report sections, type or select a number in the Show <n> slowest source registers per destination register in fmax, tsu, th, and tco reports list.
To exclude paths with an fMAX greater than a specified amount from the timing analysis report, turn on Exclude paths with fmax greater than, type a value in the box, and select a time unit in the list.
To exclude paths with a slack greater than a specified amount from the timing analysis report, turn on Exclude paths with slack greater than, type a value in the box, and select a time unit in the list.
To exclude paths with a tSU less than a specified amount from the timing analysis report, turn on Exclude paths with tsu less than, type a value in the box, and select a time unit in the list.
To exclude paths with a tH less than a specified amount from the timing analysis report, turn on Exclude paths with th less than, type a value in the box, and select a time unit in the list.
To exclude paths with a tCO less than a specified amount from the timing analysis report, turn on Exclude paths with tco less than, type a value in the box, and select a time unit in the list.
To exclude paths with a tPD less than a specified amount from the timing analysis report, turn on Exclude paths with tpd less than, type a value in the box, and select a time unit in the list.
Click OK.
