To assign an entity or node to a LogicLock^™ region:

1. If you have not already done so, create a LogicLock region.

2. Select an entity in the Compilation Hierarchies folder on the Hierarchies tab of the Project Navigator.  More Details

   Find the node name in the Node Finder and select it.  More Details

3. Drag the selected entity or node onto the top bar of the LogicLock region in the Current Assignments floorplan or the Timing Closure floorplan.

   or

   Drag the selected entity or node onto the LogicLock region's name in the LogicLock Regions window.

Alternative Procedure for Assigning an Entity or Node to a LogicLock Region

To delete an entity or node from a LogicLock region:

1. Open the LogicLock Regions window.

2. Select the LogicLock region in the Region name list.

3. Right-click the region, and choose Properties (right button pop-up menu). Shortcut

4. Click the Contents tab.

5. Right-click the entity or node in the Members list.

6. Choose Delete (right button pop-up menu).  More Details
