To specify the default external delays to and/or from device pins:

You can also specify all timing settings with the Timing wizard.

1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

2. Choose Settings (Assignments menu).  Shortcut

3. In the Category list, select Clocks under Timing Settings.

4. Click Default External Delays.

5. In the Default External Delays dialog box, type the appropriate default external input delay time in the Default external input delay box and select a time unit in the list.

6. In the Default external output delay box, type the appropriate default external output delay time and select a time unit in the list.

7. Click OK.

8. Click OK.
