Setting Up Programmer Object File Options for EPC4, EPC8, and EPC16 Configuration Devices



To set the options for a Programmer Object File (.pof) for an EPC4, EPC8, or EPC16 configuration device:

  1. If you have not already done so, choose Convert Programming Files (File menu).

  2. If you have not already done so, set up an output programming file, with Programming file type set to Programmer Object File (.pof) and Configuration device set to EPC4, EPC8, or EPC16.

  3. Under Output programming file, click Options.

  4. In the Options tab of the Configuration Device Options dialog box, under JTAG user code settings, select Auto usercode or select Configuration device JTAG user code and type the 32-bit hexadecimal JTAG user code for the configuration device.

  5. If you want, turn on Disable nCS and OE pull-ups on configuration device.

  6. If you want, turn on Compression mode.

  7. If you want, select the clock settings for the configuration device in the options under Clock settings.

  8. Click OK.
