JTAG User Code Settings



Specifies the JTAG user code options for the configuration device.

Auto usercode

Uses the checksum value from the Programmer Object File (.pof) as the JTAG user code.

This option is available only for EPC2, EPC4, EPC8, and EPC16 configuration devices.

Configuration device JTAG user code (32-bit hexadecimal)

Specifies the 32-bit hexadecimal number for the device. The JTAG user code is an extension of the option register. This data can be read with the JTAG USERCODE instruction.

This option is available only for EPC2, EPC4, EPC8, and EPC16 configuration devices.

Automatically increment JTAG user code for multiple configuration devices

If turned on and if the target device requires multiple configuration devices, automatically increments the JTAG user code you specify in the Configuration device JTAG user code box in the second and subsequent configuration devices.

This option is available only for EPC2 configuration devices.
