To move the Quartus^® II window or an open window in the Quartus II software to another position:

1. Click the Quartus II Application icon () to open the Application Control menu or the applicable Document icon (                      ) to open the Document Control menu.  Read This First

2. Choose Move (Application Control or Document Control menu).

3. Press the appropriate arrow keys to move the window to the target location.  More Details

4. When you have moved the window to the target location, click the window.  More Details

To change the size of the Quartus II window or an open window in the Quartus II software:

1. Click the Quartus II Application icon () to open the Application Control menu or the applicable Document icon (                      ) to open the Document Control menu.  Read This First

2. Choose Size (Application Control or Document Control menu).

3. Press the appropriate arrow keys to expand or contract the window either horizontally or vertically.  More Details

4. When you have expanded or contracted the window to the size you want, click the window.

To shrink the Quartus II window or an open window in the Quartus II software to an icon:

1. Click the Quartus II Application icon () to open the Application Control menu or the applicable Document icon (                      ) to open the Document Control menu.  Read This First

2. Choose Minimize (Application Control or Document Control menu).  Shortcut

To enlarge the Quartus II window or an open window in the Quartus II software to its maximum size:

1. Click the Quartus II Application icon () to open the Application Control menu or the applicable Document icon (                      ) to open the Document Control menu.  Read This First

2. Choose Maximize (Application Control or Document Control menu).  Shortcut

To restore the Quartus II window or an open window in the Quartus II software to its original size prior to minimizing it to an icon:

1. Click the Quartus II Application icon () to open the Application Control menu or the applicable Document icon (                      ) to open the Document Control menu.  Read This First

2. Choose Restore (Application Control or Document Control menu).  Shortcut

To close the Quartus II window or an open window in the Quartus II software:

1. Click the Quartus II Application icon () to open the Application Control menu or the applicable Document icon (                      ) to open the Document Control menu.  Read This First

To switch from one open window to the next open window directly beneath that window in the Quartus II software:

1. Click the applicable Document icon (                   ) to open the Document Control menu.  Read This First

2. Choose Next (Document Control menu).  Shortcut

To restore the Quartus II window to its default size as well as the default settings for the rest of the desktop in the Quartus II software:

1. Choose Toolbars (Tools menu).  Shortcut

2. Click the Toolbars tab.

3. Click Reset All.  Read This First

4. Click OK.

5. Exit and restart the Quartus II software to see the restoration of the default settings.  More Details
