Adjusting Docked Windows with Splitters

To change the horizontal or vertical size of a docked window by adjusting window splitters:

  1. With the mouse, point to the border of a docked or floating window until the mouse pointer becomes a sizing arrow.

  2. To resize the window, select the the splitter bar and drag it to the desired size.

 

To remove all changes you have made to dockable windows and restore the default settings to the rest of the desktop:

  1. Choose Toolbars (Tools menu).  Shortcut

  2. Click the Toolbars tab.

  3. Click Reset All.  Read This First

  4. Click OK.

  5. Exit and restart the Quartus® II software to see the restoration of the default settings.  More Details
