You can use the Waveform Editor to enter simulation vectors and view simulation results:
To enter simulation vectors, you can create a new vector source file, add the nodes to the file, and edit the input values of the nodes before simulating. To add node names to the vector source file, you can use the Node Finder dialog box or the Insert Node or Bus command (Edit menu), or you can drag nodes to the Waveform Editor from the Floorplan Editor. Guidelines
To view simulation results, you can click the Simulation Waveforms section of the Simulator Report window, or choose the Simulation Debug > Current Vector Inputs command (Processing menu).
After a successful simulation, you can copy and paste the simulation output vectors into the original vector source file, or you can overwrite the original vector source file with the results of the simulation. Overwriting the file ensures that subsequent simulations produce the same results, and can be useful for retaining the current input vectors for future simulations. You cannot edit the vectors in the Simulation Waveforms section, but you can open the vector source file for editing.
After simulation and overwriting, you can use the Compare to Waveforms in File command (View menu) to compare the original vector source file with the overwritten file to view the differences between the files.
