Displays the behavior of specified outputs in a graphical read-only waveform.

The output waveform available from the Simulation Report cannot be edited. Only minor changes, such as to comments, time bars, and the order of node or group names are allowed.

When you open the Simulation Waveforms section, the Report window menus contain all the Waveform Editor commands. Because the waveforms in the Report window are read-only, however, any Waveform Editor commands you can use to edit a waveform are dimmed to indicate they are unavailable. Nevertheless, the following commands, which edit other aspects of the waveform view, are available:

• Replace (Edit menu). The Replace command in the Report window waveform view replaces only text in comments.
• Insert Time Bar (Edit menu).
• Grid Size (Edit menu).
• Snap to Grid (View menu).
• Snap to Transition (View menu).
• Next Transition (View menu).
• Previous Transition (View menu).
• Time Bar Organizer (Edit menu).
• Properties (right button pop-up menu). The Type and Value Type lists in the Node Properties dialog box are not available in the Report window.
• Sort (Edit menu).

Any changes to the time bars, waveform or node properties, waveform grid, comments, or order of the waveforms are saved when the Simulation Waveforms section is closed.
