To expand or collapse a folder in the Report Window Contents:

1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

2. If you have not already done so, compile or perform a timing or functional simulation on a design entity or an entire project. Read This First

3. If you have not already done so, open the Report window.

4. To expand a folder, click the + icon next to the folder name and icon.

   or

   Double-click the folder name or icon.

5. To collapse a folder, click the - icon next to the folder name and icon.

   or

   Double-click the folder name or icon.

To open a Report window section using the Report Window Contents:

1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

2. If you have not already done so, compile or perform a timing or functional simulation on a design entity or an entire project. Read This First

3. If you have not already done so, open the Report window.

4. Click the name or icon for the section you want to view.  More Details

To open multiple windows of Report window sections:

1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

2. If you have not already done so, compile or perform a timing or functional simulation on a design entity or an entire project. Read This First

3. If you have not already done so, open the Report window.

4. Click the name or icon for the section you want to view.  More Details

5. Open another copy of the Report window.

6. In the new copy of the Report window, click the name or icon for the section you want to view.

To open a Report window section listed immediately above or below the currently opened section in the Report Window Contents:

1. To open the section listed immediately above the current section, choose Go > Previous Section (View menu).  Shortcut  More Details  More Details

2. To open the section listed immediately below the current section, choose Go > Next Section (View menu).  Shortcut  More Details  More Details

To reopen to a Report window section you previously closed by opening another section:

1. Choose Go > Back (View menu).  Shortcut  More Details  More Details

2. Repeat until you return to the desired section.

To reopen to a Report window section that you previously closed using the Go > Back command (View menu):

1. Choose Go > Forward (View menu).  Shortcut  More Details  More Details

2. Repeat until you return to the desired section.
