To save a Report window Messages, Simulation Waveforms, or Logical Memories section as its own file:
If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.
If you have not already done so, compile or perform a timing or functional simulation on a design entity or an entire project. Read This First
If you have not already done so, open the Report window.
If you have not already done so, open the Messages, Simulation Waveforms, or Logical Memories section you want to save.
Choose Save Current Report Section As (File menu). Shortcut
If you are saving a Simulation Waveforms section, in the Save as type list, select Vector Table Output File (*.tbl) to save the section as a Vector Table Output File (.tbl) or Vector Waveform File (*.vwf) to save the section as a Vector Waveform File (.vwf).
If you are saving a Logical Memories section, in the Save as type list, select Hexadecimal File (*.hex) to save the section as a Hexadecimal File (.hex), Memory Initialization File (*.mif) to save the section as a Memory Initialization File (.mif), or Verilog Value Change Dump File (*.vcd) to save the section as a Verilog Value Change Dump File (.vcd).
In the File name box, type a name for the file you want to create.
or
In the Files list, select the name of an existing file you want to overwrite.
Click Save.
