To create a Text-Format Report File (.rpt) or HTML-Format Report File (.htm) that contains only the sections you specify:

1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

2. If you have not already done so, compile or perform a timing or functional simulation on a design entity or an entire project. Read This First

3. If you have not already done so, open the Report window.

4. In the Report Window Contents, select the sections that you want to include in the Report File.  Read This First

5. Choose Save As (File menu).

6. In the Save as type list, select Text-Format Report File (*.rpt;*.csf.rpt;*.ssf.rpt) to create a Text-Format Report File, or select HTML-Format Report File (*.htm;*.html;*.csf.htm;*.csf.html;*.ssf.htm;*.ssf.html) to create an HTML-Format Report File.

7. In the File name box, type a file name for the file you are creating.

   or

   In the Files list, select the file name of a file you want to overwrite.

8. Click Save.
