To assign a node to a region in the Floorplan Editor:
Open the Current Assignments floorplan or open the Timing Closure floorplan.
To display the Regions window, turn on Regions Window (View menu).
Drag the signal from the Floorplan Editor to a region in the Regions window.
If you wish, you can copy pin and node assignments to the Regions window.
