To insert a file:

1. If you have not already done so, open or create a text file.

2. Define an insertion point for the file you want to insert, or select text that you want to replace with the inserted file.  More Details

3. Choose Insert File (Edit menu).  Shortcut

4. To specify the file you want to insert, select an existing name in the Files list or type a name in the File name box.

5. Click Open.
