You can specify project-wide timing requirements using the Timing Wizard (Assignments menu), the Settings dialog box, or the Assignment Organizer (Assignments menu).

To specify project-wide timing requirements with the Assignment Organizer command:

1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

2. Choose Assignment Organizer (Assignments menu).

3. Click the By Node tab.

4. Under Mode, select Edit project defaults & Compiler settings.

5. In the Assignment Categories list, select Timing.

6. Click Click here to add a new assignment.

7. Under Assignment, in the Name list, select the assignment you wish to make.  More Details

8. In the Setting box, type the appropriate time value and select a time unit in the list.

9. Click Add.

10. Click OK.
