Allows you to choose one of the following options to determine the device the Compiler uses:
| Auto device selected by the Compiler from the 'Available devices' list | Specifies that the Compiler chooses, from the Available devices list in the Device page of the Settings dialog box (Assignments menu), the device with the most appropriate density for the design. |
| Specific device selected in 'Available devices' list |
Specifies that the Compiler uses the device you select in the Available devices list. If you choose this option, you can select a device in the Available devices list, and then assign node names in the chip to pins on the selected device using the Assign Pins dialog box, which is available from the Device page. Selecting a device in the Available devices list automatically selects the Specific device selected in 'Available devices' list option. |
