Show in 'Available Devices' List
Allows you to specify which devices in a family are displayed in the Available devices list in the Device page of the Settings dialog box. Selecting settings from the following filter lists specifies the characteristics the devices must have to be displayed in the Available devices list:

Devices that are available in the specified package type. |
| Pin count |
Devices that have the specified pin count. |
| Speed grade |
Devices that have the specified speed grade. |

You can also turn on Show Advanced Devices to display advanced devices in the Available devices list. Advanced devices are devices that will be released in the near future and for which the Quartus® II software provides compilation, simulation, and timing analysis support, but does not yet generate programming files.
