Specifying the I/O Standard for a Device



To specify the default I/O standard for the device selected for the current Compiler settings:  More Details

  1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

  2. If you have not already done so, specify the current Compiler settings.

  3. If you have not already done so, specify the design entity you want to compile.

  4. Choose Settings (Assignments menu).  Shortcut

  5. In the Category list, select Device under Compiler Settings.

  6. Click Device & Pin Options.

  7. In the Device & Pin Options dialog box, click the Voltage tab.

  8. In the Default I/O standard list, select the I/O standard for the device.

  9. In the VCCIO I/O bank1 voltage list, select the VCCIO voltage for the I/O bank1.

  10. In the VCCIO I/O bank2 voltage list, select the VCCIO voltage for the I/O bank2.

  11. If you want to reset the option in the tab to its original setting, click Reset.

  12. Click OK.
