Generating Optional Programming Files for Programmer Object Files



To generate a Serial Vector Format File (.svf), In System Configuration File (.isc), JEDEC STAPL File (.jam), Jam STAPL Byte-Code File (.jbc), and/or Hexadecimal (Intel-Format) Output File (.hexout) in addition to the Programmer Object File (.pof):

  1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

  2. If you have not already done so, specify the current Compiler settings.

  3. If you have not already done so, specify the design entity you want to compile.

  4. Choose Settings (Assignments menu).  Shortcut

  5. In the Category list, select Device under Compiler Settings.

  6. Click Device & Pin Options.

  7. In the Device & Pin Options dialog box click the Configuration tab.

  8. Click Configuration Device Options.

  9. In the Configuration Device Options dialog box, click the Files tab.

  10. Under Optional programming file formats, turn on the file programming file formats you want the Compiler to generate.

  11. Click OK.

  12. Click OK.

  13. Click OK.
