To change general Waveform Editor options:

1. Choose Options (Tools command).

2. In the Category list, select Waveform Editor.

3. To snap insertion points, area selections, and new transitions to the grid, turn on Snap to grid.  More Details

4. To snap insertion points, area selections, and new transitions to the transition, turn on Snap to transition.

5. Under When inserting waveforms, select the result that you want when you insert waveforms into a waveform file.

6. To change the end time in new waveform files, type the default end time in Default end time and select the time unit in the list.

7. To change the grid period in new waveform files, type the default grid period in Default grid period and select the time unit in the list.

8. To change the grid period in new waveform files, type the default grid phase in Default grid phase and select the time unit in the list.

9. To change the duty cycle of the grid in new waveform files, type the percentage of the period in the Default grid duty cycle (%).

10. Click OK.
