To change the default options for the end time of waveform files:

1. Choose Options (Tools command).

2. In the Category list, select Waveform Editor General.

3. Under When inserting waveforms, select one of the options for truncating the waveform or extending the file end time.

4. To change the default end time for new files, type a time in the Default file end time and select a time unit in the list.

5. Click OK.
