Creating a Custom Filter



To create a custom filter:

  1. Open the Node Finder.

  2. Click Customize.

  3. In the Customize Filter dialog box, click New.

  4. In the Filter name box, type a name for the new filter.

  5. In the Copy settings from filter list, select an existing user-created or Altera-provided filter that you can use to copy settings. More Details

  6. Click OK.

  7. In the Customize Filter dialog box, specify the settings for the new filter:

    1. Under View, select Current Assignments or Last Compilation.

    2. Under Use netlist, select Pre-synthesis, Post-synthesis, or Post-fitting. If you selected Pre-synthesis and want to find only SignalTap® II nodes, turn on Show only SignalTap II names. If you selected Post-fitting and want to find only SignalTap II and SignalProbe nodes, turn on Show only SignalTap II and SignalProbe names.

    3. Under Assignments, turn on or off any additional options to further limit or expand the search.

    4. Under Type, turn on or off any additional options to further limit or expand the search.

    5. Under Creator, turn on or off any additional options to further limit or expand the search.

  8. Click OK.
