Node Finder

Overview: Using the Node Finder

The Node Finder is a search tool that allows you to find and use any node name in a compiled Quartus® II project. You can search for specific node names or types of node names by creating custom filters and/or specifying options in the Node Finder. You can limit the node name search to specific design entities, or you can search the entire project. After performing a node name search, you can use the node names found by the Node Finder to perform any of the following actions:

A dialog box version of the Node Finder is available from the Breakpoints, Insert Node or Bus, Assignment Organizer, Critical Path Settings, and Assign Pins dialog boxes, respectively. The Node Finder dialog box includes >, >>, <, and <<, buttons, as well as a Selected Nodes list, to facilitate copying node names to those dialog boxes.
