Floats the dockable window in the Quartus^® II main window and allows the dockable window to behave like any other document window you have open in the Quartus II software. Accordingly, you can move other floating windows to the front of the desktop.

If you do not turn on this command, the dockable window in its floating state is always at the front of the desktop.

However, if you turn on both this command and the Enable Docking command (right button pop-up menu), the Restrict to Main Window command supercedes. Accordingly, you cannot dock the dockable window, but you can move other floating windows to the front of the desktop.
