Enable Docking Command (Right Button Pop-up Menu)

Allows you to dock a floating, dockable window. When you turn on Enable Docking, you can select the window's title bar, then drag it to any of the four borders of the Quartus® II main window to dock the window.

If you turn on the Enable Docking command and turn off the Restrict to Main Window command (right button pop-up menu)—and the dockable window is in its floating state—the window is always at the front of the desktop.

If you turn on both commands, the Restrict to Main Window command supercedes, and the dockable window behaves like any other document window you have open in the Quartus II software. Accordingly, you cannot dock the window, but you can move other floating windows to the front of the desktop.
