To update all symbols or blocks in a Block Design File (.bdf) after changing the Block Symbol File (.bsf)  Read This First:

1. If you have not already done so, open or create a BDF.

2. Edit the symbol in the BSF.

3. In the BDF, choose Update Symbol or Block (Edit menu).  Shortcut  More Details

4. Under Update, select All Symbols in the File.

5. Click OK.

To update one or more symbols or blocks in a BDF after the BSF is changed:

1. If you have not already done so, open or create a Block Design File (.bdf).

2. Edit the symbol in the BSF.

3. In the BDF, select the symbol(s) or block(s) you want to update.

4. Choose Update Symbol or Block (Edit menu).  Shortcut

5. Under Update, select Selected symbol(s) or block(s) or All occurrences of selected symbol(s) or block(s).

6. Click OK.
