Specifying Parameter Primitive (PARAM) Properties



To specify Parameter Primitive (PARAM) Properties:

  1. If you have not already done so, open or create a Block Design File (.bdf) or a Block Symbol File (.bsf).

  2. If you have not already done so, insert the PARAM primitive.

  3. Select the parameter.

  4. Choose Properties (Edit menu).  Shortcut

  5. In the Parameter Properties dialog box, click the General tab.

  6. To specify the name and default value of the parameter, under Parameters, type the name and default value in the Name and Default Value boxes, respectively.

  7. Click the Format tab.

  8. Under Fill, select the color in the Color list.

  9. If you want, under Fill, turn on No fill to make the parameter's background transparent.

  10. Under Text, select the color of the text in the Color list.

  11. To reset all colors to their default settings, click Reset All Colors.

  12. Click OK.
