To specify constant properties:

1. If you have not already done so, open or create a Block Design File (.bdf).

2. If you have not already done so, insert the constant symbol.

3. Select the constant.

4. Choose Properties (Edit menu).  Shortcut

5. In the Constant Properties dialog box, click the General tab.

6. To specify the name and value of the constant, type the name and value in the Name and Value boxes.

7. Click the Format tab.

8. Specify the format properties for the constant.

9. Click OK.
