To edit the symbol that represents the current design file:

1. If you have not already done so, open the Block Design File (.bdf) containing the symbol you want to edit.

2. If you have not done so, save the file.

3. Select the symbol.

4. Choose Edit Selected Symbol (Edit menu).  More Details

5. Edit the symbol in the Symbol Editor, using the appropriate tools from the toolbar.

6. After you make all necessary edits, save the file.

7. Update the symbol in the appropriate Block Editor file.  More Details
