More Details About Merging Connectors with Conduits

Connecting a node or bus with a conduit

When you merge the node or bus with the conduit, the node or bus signals must be in the conduit network. If the node or bus has signals that match signals in the conduit, then the signals are connected automatically to the conduit network.

You can view the signals in the conduit network in the Connections list in the Signals tab of the Conduit Properties dialog box (Edit menu).

When you connect a node or a bus to a conduit, you can divert signals from the conduit to the node or bus that connects a symbol.

Connecting a conduit with a conduit

When you merge a conduit with a conduit, the signals from both conduit networks are merged together, and the resulting conduit network contains the signals from both initial conduit networks. Any signals from blocks or pins connected to either conduit network are now automatically connected in the new conduit network.

If either of the initial conduits has an alias name, the Block Editor generates a new, unique alias name for the new conduit.
