Specifying Conduit Properties



To specify properties for a conduit:

  1. If you have not already done so, open or create a Block Design File (.bdf) or a Block Symbol File (.bsf).

  2. Select the conduit.

  3. Choose Properties (Edit menu).  Shortcut

  4. In the Conduit Properties dialog box, click the General tab.

  5. Type the name in the Conduit Name box.

  6. If you want, turn on Hide name in block design file.

  7. Click the Signals tab.

  8. To add a signal name to the conduit, type the signal name in the Signal box, and click Add.

    or

    Double-click the <<new>> cell in the Connections table, and specify a signal name in the list.

  9. To change a signal or connection in the conduit, double-click either a signal or a connection name in a cell in the Connections table, and select a name in the list.

  10. To delete a signal and its connections from the conduit, select the signal in the Connections table and click Delete.

  11. Click the Font tab.

  12. Specify the Font, Font Style and Size for the line or bus.

  13. To reset fonts to their default specifications, click Reset.

  14. Click the Format tab.

  15. Specify the Format settings for the conduit.

  16. Click OK.
