To specify the type and number of critical paths displayed in the Floorplan Editor based on delay:

1. Choose Routing > Critical Path Settings (View menu).  Shortcut

2. Click the By Delay tab.

3. If you want to display only those critical paths that use a particular clock, select a clock from the Clock domain list.

4. If you want to display only those critical paths that have a specific source node, type a source node name in the Source name box, or click Browse... to select a source node name using the Node Finder dialog box.

5. If you want to display only those critical paths that have a specific destination node, type a destination node name in the Destination name box, or click Browse... to select a destination node name using the Node Finder dialog box.

6. If you want to filter the types of paths displayed, under Path type, turn on the path types you wish to display.

7. Click Find paths.

8. If you want to specify the number of critical paths displayed in the Floorplan Editor as a percentage of the total number of paths, under Critical paths displayed, specify a percentage of the total number of paths by moving the Slider.

   or

   If you want to specify the exact number of critical paths to display in the Floorplan Editor, under Critical paths displayed, type or select a number in the Number of paths displayed box.

9. If you used the Show Path Edges command to display expanded paths in the Floorplan Editor and you want to display only expanded paths, turn on Show only expanded paths.

10. Click Apply.  More Details

1. Choose Routing > Critical Path Settings (View menu).  Shortcut

2. Click the By Slack tab.

3. If you want to display only those critical paths that use a particular clock, select a clock from the Clock domain list.

4. If you want to display only those critical paths that have a specific source node, type a source node name in the Source name box, or click Browse... to select a source node name using the Node Finder.

5. If you want to display only those critical paths that have a specific destination node, type a destination node name in the Destination name box, or click Browse... to select a destination node name using the Node Finder.

6. If you want to filter the types of paths displayed, under Path type, turn on path types you wish to display.

7. Click Find paths.

8. Specify the number of critical paths displayed in the Floorplan Editor in relation to 0 ns slack by by moving the Slider under Critical paths displayed.

   or

   Type a number in the Slack box.

9. If you used the Show Path Edges command to display expanded paths in the Floorplan Editor and you want to display only expanded paths, turn on Show only expanded paths.

10. Click Apply.  More Details
