Specifies the directories that contain the Library Files (.a) and object files you type in the Object/library modules box in the Linker tab of the Software Build Settings dialog box (Processing menu). You do not need to type the Quartus^® II project directory in the Additional library directories box because a software toolset linker automatically searches for the files in that directory.

Separate directories with commas.

If you select Custom build in the Software toolset list or Library File (.a) in the Output file format list in the CPU page of the Settings dialog box (Assignments menu), this option is dimmed to indicate that it is not available.
