To compile a SignalTap II File (.stp) with the selected project:  Read This First

1. Specify the current Compiler settings.

2. Choose Settings (Assignments menu).  Shortcut

3. In the Category list, select SignalTap II Logic Analyzer under Compiler Settings.

4. Turn on Enable SignalTap II Logic Analyzer. More Details

5. In the SignalTap II File name box, type the name of the SignalTap II File (.stp) you want to compile, or select a file name with Browse (...).

6. Click OK.

7. Compile the design.

8. Click Yes for the prompt, Save changes to <file name>?
