If you select a specific design entry or synthesis tool in the Design entry/synthesis tool list in the EDA Tool Settings page of the Settings dialog box (Assignments menu), the Altera-provided Library Mapping File (.lmf) for that tool is the default LMF.

If you select the FPGA Express software as the design entry tool, you must specify the LMF generated by the FPGA Express software instead of the Altera-provided LMF.
