EPF6024A Devices



The EPF6024A, a member of the FLEX® 6000 device family, provides 1,960 registers; 12,000-24,0000 gates; and a large number of storage elements for complex circuit applications such as digital signal processing, wide data-path manipulation, and data transformation. The EPF6024A meets the low power and voltage requirements of 3.3-V applications ranging from notebook computers to battery-operated, hand-held equipment.

The EPF6024A is available in 240-pin PQFP packages with 195 I/O pins, 208-pin PQFP packages with 167 I/O pins, 144-pin TQFP packages with 113 I/O pins, 256-pin BGA packages with 214 I/O pins, and 256-pin FineLine BGA® packages with 214 I/O pins. (See Note (11))  The device has 1,960 logic cells grouped into 196 LABs, which are arranged into seven rows and 28 columns. Each I/O element contains a bidirectional I/O buffer. The device also contains four dedicated fast inputs for synchronous or asynchronous control signals with large fan-outs. The EPF6024A supports in-circuit reconfiguration and JTAG BST. The EPF6024A JTAG Instruction Register length is 3 and Boundary-Scan Register length is 681.
