To overwrite a count, clock, state, or group value on a waveform with a clock value:

1. Open a waveform file.

2. Select a waveform interval or entire waveform on one or more individual nodes or groups that you want to overwrite.

3. Choose Value > Clock (Edit menu).  Shortcut

4. To overwrite the selection with a clock signal based on any clock defined in the project, under Base waveform on, select Clock settings. More Details 

5. To overwrite the selection with a clock signal based on an arbitrary clock setting comprised of a clock's period, phase, and duty cycle, under Base waveform on, select Time period.

6. Click OK.
