The Simulation Waveforms section of the Simulator Report Window displays the non-editable results of a simulation. If you attempt to edit this report, the Edit Input Vector File dialog box opens to allow you to edit the editable vector source file instead of the report.

You can open the vector source file with the Open command (File menu), or you can use the Edit Input Vector File dialog box that opens automatically when you attempt to edit read-only items in the Simulation Waveforms section. This dialog box allows you either to open and edit the vector source file, or to first overwrite the vector source file with the Simulation outputs before opening the file.
