To program a single device in Active Serial Programming mode with the ByteBlaster^™ II download cable:

1. Open the Chain Description File (.cdf) that contains the programming file with which you want to program the device.

2. Plug the ByteBlaster II download cable into the system that contains the device to be programmed.

3. In the Mode list, select Active Serial Configuration.

4. If you want, turn on one or more programming options in the programming list.  Read This First

5. Click Start.  Read This First

6. To monitor the progress of programming or other optional action, watch the Progress field on the Programmer window.
