An ASCII text file (with the extension .cdf) that stores device name, device order, and optional programming file name information. You can use CDFs to program or configure one or more devices in a JTAG chain in JTAG mode or a Passive Serial chain in Passive Serial mode, or a single device using In-Socket Programming mode.
