To add an SRAM Object File (.sof), a Programmer Object File (.pof), or the contents of a Chain Description File (.cdf) to a JTAG or Passive Serial chain:  Read This First

1. If you have not already done so, open an existing CDF.

2. Choose Open (File menu).  Shortcut

3. In the Open dialog box, select Programming Files (*.cdf, *.sof, *.pof) in the Files of type list.

4. Select the existing SOF, POF, or CDF whose contents you want to add to the currently open Programmer window.

5. Click Open.

6. In the Open File dialog box, select Add this file to <file name>.

7. If you do not want to add the selected file to the currently open Programmer window, select Open a new Programmer window listing this file.

8. Click OK.
