Specifying the Content of a Memory Initialization File or a Hexadecimal (Intel-Format) File



To specify or edit the content of a Memory Initialization File (.mif) or Hexadecimal (Intel-Format) File (.hex):

  1. Create a MIF or HEX File.

  2. Specify the cells per row.

  3. Specify the address radix.

  4. Specify the memory radix.

  5. Select the cell(s) you want to fill.

  6. Fill selected cells.

  7. If you want to edit or adjust memory cells and their values in a MIF or HEX File, you can:

    1. Cut, copy, or paste cells.

    2. Insert and paste insert cells.

    3. Find and replace text.

    4. Delete cells.
