To specify pin properties:

1. If you have not already done so, open or create a Block Design File (.bdf).

2. Select the appropriate pin.

3. Choose Properties (Edit menu).  Shortcut

4. In the Pin Properties dialog box, click the General tab.

5. To specify the name of the selected pin, type the name in the Pin Name(s) box.

6. To specify the default value of the selected pin, select VCC or GND in the Default value box.

7. Click the Format tab.

8. Specify the Format tab settings for the pin.

9. Click OK.
