Specifying Format Properties for Circles, Rectangles, Lines & Arcs



To specify format properties for circles, rectangles, lines, and arcs:

  1. If you have not already done so, open a Block Design File (.bdf) or a Block Symbol File (.bsf).

  2. If you have not already done so, insert a symbol or draw a circle, rectangle, line or arc.

  3. Select the object.

  4. Choose Properties (Edit menu).  Shortcut

  5. If necessary, click the Format tab.

  6. Under Fill, select the background color for the object in the Color list

    or

    If you want a transparent background, turn on No fill to make the object background transparent.

  7. Under Line, select the color in the Color list, thickness of the line in the Line style list, and solid or dashed lines in the Dash style list.

  8. If necessary, under Text, select the color of any text in the object from the Text Color list.

  9. To reset all colors to their default settings, click Reset All Colors.

  10. Click OK.
