When you rip a bus, you divide one bus into two or more separate buses. Each node name within the new bus names must be a node that also exists in the original bus. Example
Conversely, you can merge two or more buses to form one bus. The name of the new bus must include each node name within the original buses.
Buses are logically connected by name only; a physical connection is optional. Example
