Software

Assembler Page (Settings Dialog Box)

NOTE You can open this page from the Settings dialog box (Assignments menu).

Allows you to specify preprocessor definitions, include directories, and command-line options for a software toolset assembler to use during a software build. This tab also allows you to specify whether you want the Software Builder to use a C/C++ preprocessor on Assembly Files (.s, .asm), and whether you want the assembler to generate debug information, keep local symbols, or suppress warnings.

When you choose Custom build in the Software toolset list in the CPU page of the Settings dialog box (Assignments menu), all the options in the Assembler page are dimmed to indicate that they are not available.
