Specifies the name and path of the Entity Settings File (.esf) to which the Quartus^® II software should write the assignments that you are exporting.

By default, the file name is the same as the entity name of the entity instance that you specify in the Export focus full hierarchy path box, and the path is <project directory>/atom_netlists/.

To prevent current project files from being overwritten, the Quartus II software does not allow you to specify the current project directory as the export file path.
