To assign options for nodes and entities:

1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

2. Choose Assignment Organizer (Assignments menu).

3. Click the By Node tab.

4. Under Mode, select Enter specific entity & node settings for.

5. If necessary, copy an entity or node name to the Name box with the Node Finder dialog box.

6. If necessary, turn on Show assignments inherited from higher hierarchical levels & project defaults.

7. Under Assignment categories, click the + icon next to Options for Individual Nodes & Entities.

8. Click Click here to add a new assignment.

9. Under Assignment, select the name from the Name list.

10. Under Assignment, select the setting from the Setting list.

11. Under Stored in assignments for, select This instance only, This instance in all occurrences of its parent entity, All instances of this entity (n/a for individual nodes), or Other.

    1. If you selected Other, click Customize if you want to view the hierarchy from the top-level down to the level where the selected item(s) are instantiated.

    2. In the Select Hierarchy dialog box, click OK.

12. Click Add.

13. Click OK or Apply.
